Update: Much better now. The tutorial helps and the game seems easier to control. Couple of things that I think need help. Aiming spells seems awkward, every revive is a 20 to 30 second add and the other option is to wait 5 minutes to hire a new guy. Maybe give the option to let the character die or reduce the number of adds an make revives cost gold and take time? Character do not seem to use towers to rest and go all of the way back to town.

I am a big fan of the old PC version of this. I bought it over 15 years ago and I still play it occasionally, so understand that all of my complaints are specifically about how this port was handled. The game has been intentionally modified to make it worse and drive microtransactions. It runs at an absolutely sluggish pace compared to PC, and the AI is noticeably worse. Heroes that can't handle direct combat make no attempt to flee. playing any mission costs premium currency.

I really like Majesty. The indirect kingdom sim is a fun approach to an overdone idea. I refused to purchase this game when it was on sale for (?) dollars b/c I wasn't going to shell out cash for an expansion. Now it is free to play with a whole slew of FtP mechanics. Each level needs gems to unlock. Mandatory commercial breaks mid level. It's impressive. A horrible type of impressive. The original is better, but if you want more, be prepared to suffer through annoying, invasive pay mechanics.
